Visual Systems

I decided that I wanted to record the sound I heard between the hours of 6-7pm, however recorded the noise on two very different nights one of which I went out to see friends and you can hear the external environment of cars, rain and people walking by. In this ‘moment in time’ I was with friends at my house and was preparing to go out for the evening my recording documents music, boiling the kettle, going to the loo, pouring wine, dancing, music, walking up stairs, closing doors, cars, rain, chatting, laughing.... The following day I recorded a quiet night in, in which you heard music, the kettle, people talking, doors opening and closing.
